Townsends Lawyers prepare all the necessary legal documents to validly add, remove or replace trustee(s) of a holding trust to ensure that the change in the holding trustee has been validly effected and recorded.

Following the change of holding trustee, we are also able to further assist with implementation by preparing a documents package to assist with the transfer of the asset in the holding trust from the retiring holding trustee(s) to the new holding trustee(s).

Should the lender require that the Deed of Change of Holding Trustee be registered, we offer a service to attend to the registration with the titles office for an additional $110.00 ( note this has to be done in person in some States).
Including lodgement of all relevant documents with both the duties and titles office as well as responding to any standard requisition raised by either office.
Please note that this discounted pricing only applies if ordered at the same time as our implementation service. If not, a standard fee of $220.00 will apply if ordered at a separate time.

If you or your clients wish to execute the documentation prepared at our office in Sydney CBD, we are happy to schedule an appointment. This provides a good opportunity for clients to ask any questions they may have about the transaction and execute any documents which require to be signed in front of a solicitor or justice of the peace as part of the application. As part of this service we also print and collate the documents and undertake the verification of identity checks for the relevant parties.
