It's not difficult, or necessarily expensive, to change a Will as it can be amended, modified, updated or even completely revoked, at any time. For changes that do not require major strategic amendments a Will can often be varied by a comparatively short supplementary document called a “codicil”.

We recommend reviewing a person’s estate plan, including their Will, every 2-3 years, and whenever there are major changes to succession or tax laws or there are major life events such as marriage, divorce, property purchase or sale, birth, death or material inheritance.    

We will review the client's existing estate planning documentation, and if the documents adequately meet the client's current estate planning requirements, we will acknowledge this. If the documentation does not meet the client's requirements, we will explain what needs to change, and provide a quote to supply any amendments that may be required.
